iBasso DX160 comes in four different colors White, Black, Red, and Blue. It has a battery capacity of 3200 mAh and also supports quick charge. It has 13 hours of continuous playback on a single charge (Depending on the volume).
The DX160 will have 4.4 TRRRS (Pentaconn) output and 3.5 TRS for single-ended, line out and coax out (all in one).
WHAT’S THE BATTERY LIFE WITH BALANCED MODE?
There are a few variables. The load, the resolution/bit rate of what is being played, volume, screen use are among a few things that determine play time. We have the single ended play time, based on 16/44.1 listed, to give a basic idea of battery life.
DOES THE DX160 DO BIT-PERFECT PLAYBACK WITH APPS?
If the app is bit-perfect then there should be no issue. We have found that some apps needed to update in order to work correctly (in the past). It will be up to the 3rd party app to release updates and ensure full compatibility.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE DX220 AND THE DX160?
The hardware differences can be compared from the DX220 to the DX160 on the product pages. The DX160 has Android, the DX220 has Android and the Pure Mango, with most all of Android stripped off. The DX160 has search function and many of the Android features of the DX220. The DX220 also has the ability to switch interchangeable amp cards whereas the DX160 does not.
DOES THE DX160HAVE ACCESS TO PLAY STORE SERVICES?
You can use APK to load but it doesn't have Google Play Store. APK apps are able to be manually installed onto the DX160.
